Early Beginnings
beautiful small things
I'm the third of three siblings. Since I was a child, I was so curious about everything, looking how things work, thinking how the world moves. I liked to draw and to collect things.
We used to play "school", and I used to be the teacher. I really enjoyed it. I loved to see the books my dad had in the shelf, especially those about animals, nature and anatomy. We used to watch documentaries about nature and I dreamed about being a naturalist.

When watching Cousteau's documentaries, I really liked to see how they adapted a war ship as an aquatic laboratory with amazing technology, most of it created by Cousteau himself. He was an important part for me to decide about my career.

Is my Princess who came to me as a beautiful surprise. I have learned how to be a mom by raising her. She is passionate and powerful. She likes fashion and teaching. She likes to be independent, but when it is about family, she is always there.

Is my Blue Prince. He is a reflective kid who likes to observe and to think about many aspects. He is very smart and likes sports and videogames. He likes pets. He is very supportive and kind.
What I like to do
I love the sea
All the misteries underneath and a whole world to discover. Amazing ecosystems with beautiful creatures.
The sea has always been my inspiration for my career.
Having the possibility of scuba diving was a dream to me.
One day I will havd the chance of seeing whales.
Discovering the world
Outside with my family, teaching, discovering, searching is where I like to be. I like to walk and to go trekking. To visit natural parks and to observe landscapes.

I like different types of music, but I prefer Rock. The best company in my free time.
Last but not least, BIOLOGY
I work with it. I love to transmit it to my students, show them its ways, its mysteries, to make them surprised about the simplest and the more complex aspects of life through ordinary experiences. Through life by itself. I feel satisfied when my students realize that all time biology is all around. The name of this site is all about this. We are natural born scientists.

When having a family, you need a place that you can call home.
Traveling
Traveling is a part of my life. I like to know new places, especially my beautiful Colombia. I think that knowing your country is a good way to fall in love with it, and to appreciate it and your culture. That would help you to be an ambassador of your country and a world citizen.
