Coevolution likes treat or tricking. Some organisms “dress up” with a specific purpose.
Mimicry
is a strategy in which the animals “dress up” like a dangerous or poisonous animal.
Camouflage
is a strategy used by animals to look like their environment. They “dress up” just like their surroundings. They pretend being leaves, foliage, light and shadow. They use the most common colors that surround them to confuse enemies or to attract or hide from prey and have a meal.
Warning coloration
Some animals or plants use bright colors to advice of their presence whether they are poisonous or just they taste bad.
Some plants
have structures that simulate animals in order to attract pollinators.
Sexual selection
has forced organisms to develop beautiful colors or shapes to attract females.
