Want some Golgi apparatus?

Desserts are delicious and can be found in many ways, and the ingredients provide hundreds of textures and shapes. So, why not to use them as a learning strategy? Maybe many of us would remember the "jell-o cell" we did in primary or in middle school. Well, now parents can be more creative with these amount of candies, gummy shapes and the boom of ingredients that we can find today at the supermarket. Here is a small sample of some of the cells that sixth grade students did for a class about the structure of the cell. Hope you enjoy trying your own.
